
Tips on Making Wine at Home
Our store has all the supplies you’ll need for making wine at home and our experienced staff are happy to assist you. Before you can begin to make wine from the kit you’ve selected, you should follow the steps outlined here.

Basic Equipment
- Primary Fermenter (23 L vessel)
- Secondary Fermenter (23 L vessel)
- Air Lock
- Syphon Hose
- Hydrometer
Process
- Choose a fermenting area in a well heated part your home (72℉ to 78℉) or use a heating belt
- Sanitize all of your equipment using a Metabisulphite solution
- Follow fermentation instructions included in your kit
Storage Tips
- Store wine in a cool place with little temperature variation; between 50℉ to 60℉ is ideal
- Make sure bottles are kept in darkness since light may promote mold growth
- Lay bottles on there side to keep corks moist and maintain a good seal
